Kate Frazer Rego

Visual Arts Lead Teacher

Ms. Frazer Rego earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and her Master’s of Fine Arts from Boston University. Her work has been shown nationally and is included in several collections. She recently participated in Art In Odd Places, an international performance art festival, and had her work featured in the Cambridge Art Associations 2019 Emerging Artist Exhibition. In 2015, she co-founded the Q+ Club, creating a safe space of inclusion and diversity at Alma. She was named a Master Teacher the following year. In the Summer of 2017 she was the recipient of an Almazing Fund which afforded her the opportunity to experience some of the great art institutions of Europe. She was able to bring her experiences back to Alma and share them with the scholars. She also runs the Merit Store and Merit Raffle and organizes the two middle school socials.
