Reading Neuropsych Evaluations to Understand with Gretchen Timmell, MEd

Special Education teachers and staff are welcomed to join us for a short session with Gretchen Timmel, MEd. Gretchen works at Massachusetts General Hospital a licensed educational psychologist and certified elementary teacher. Ms. Timmel has extensive experience in school and residential settings collaborating across medical teams, schools, and caregivers to promote individual student success. During this session, Ms. Timmel will break down the components of school based psychoeducational evaluations. She will review disability categories as well as scoring windows. Special Educators will leave this session with a better understanding of the meaning of psychoeducational evaluations.
