Meet Ms. Rebelo!

What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I've heard great comments on how wonderful the school is from locals and how well the students thrive in this development system. Like Alma, I also am from the New Bedford area and see how their school thrives here.

What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I plan to contribute a happy, positive, safe environment for all scholars to thrive and grow. As I plan on helping scholars be educated in what there learning and their learning style they learn best. Accommodating their needs for a support system and making sure everyone feels included.

What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My shop Related Teacher, Ms. Vincent. She really helped me excel in high school as I was in the shop, Early Childhood Education. She took the time to help me on assignments I struggled on, finding ways I learned best. She also had a warm, bubbly personality that made everyone love her. She always wanted the best for students and others as she always kept positivity in the classroom.

Why did you become involved in education?
Since I was 5, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have always had a care for helping others when learning or in need of anything, which is why I've been so drawn to being a teacher, as I want to help children grow in education and in life.

Where did you go to college or post-secondary school and what did you like about it?
Bridgewater State University. I liked learning from skilled and educated professors in the major, and the skills they helped me achieve, moving forward in life in history and education.
